Weddings are always a treat for me. Seriously, when someone asks me what it's like to be a photographer for a living my answer is always "It's the best job in the world". I get to be a part of a HUGE memory for two people. This is the day that they promise themselves to each other. FOREVER. And they wanted me to be a part of that. It truly is one of the biggest honors in the world. One of the only things that makes it even better, is being able to photograph the wedding of a friend.
Becky is one of my wife's oldest friends and it was such a treat to be able to be part of their day. My wife, Annie, was also asked to be a bridesmaid so it was a wonderful time to get to work and play with some great friends. They were wed at the absolutely beautiful Pawleys Island Community Church Chapel in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. The reception took place at Surfside Presbyterian where they cut in to one of the most beautiful cakes I have ever had the pleasure of photographing and enjoyed some awesome dancing. Becky and Jacob are two of my dear friends and it was an absolute pleasure to be part of their big day. It's couples like these two that are the reason I have the best job in the world. Enjoy!
