Conway, South Carolina is my home town and where I spent the first 23 years of my life. Though I only live 20 minutes away now, I don't get the opportunity to see many people that I grew up with. It's nice to catch up with people I haven't seen in forever and help them back up their memories of this time in their life with photos! My friends Adam, Christian and their son Emerson were a ton of fun to photograph!Read More
Britton's Neck is a little place in Marion County, South Carolina. If you were privy to the information, you have probably passed through it while traveling to Myrtle Beach. What most people don't know is the rich history of such a small place. Within the epicenter of this very small community is a fire tower and at the very core of that fire tower's story, is the life of my great-grandfather.Read More
So a couple weeks back, I had the opportunity to shoot a band touring through Myrtle Beach. They are a bluegrass based quartet with an awesome sound. The venue was a little place called Shell Crackers in Pawley's Island, which is just south of Myrtle Beach, that I had no idea even existed. It was a little hideaway just off the highway that ended up being a beautiful venue for any show! One of the members of the band is from the area, so this was a private party of sorts with a very intimate feel. I went for the express purpose of taking photos but ended up really enjoying the concert. They are an awesome group with tons of talent and I hope to work with them again in the future! Enjoy the images!
