When I was a kid, I had a bad habit of losing things (unfortunately that habit has stuck a little more than I care to admit). It’s not that I didn’t care about things, it would just slip my mind and poof it was gone next time I thought about it. This is a very big reason why my parents would not let me have a digital camera when I was young. They knew that I would end up misplacing it and never have anything to show from my travels. Well eventually at the age of 17 or 18 I believe, my parents finally bought me a digital camera: A Panasonic Lumix DMC - TZ3 point and shoot. No have the time this thing felt so advanced, it had a 10 times optical zoom , A metal body and took very decently sized photos. I never had the need to print over 8 x 10 often but I did end up using one of my images for a poster which turned out very good. Detail wise the photo itself actually kind of sucked haha.Read More

We have marathons, car shows, restaurant and wine events; but one thing everybody knows it looks forward to is the St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church Greek Fest. With vendors, music, Attractions for the kids, traditional Greek dancing and of course some of the best food on the beach, you're bound to have a good time. I ended up going with my family to enjoy the festivities and decided to shoot a little street photography while I was there. I hope you enjoy the video and photos.

Throughout history, The technology of photography has grown leaps and bounds. We've moved from chemical web plates to film and from film into digital, but the digital world itself has grown tremendously in my lifetime. This is a history lesson, we all know that even the entry-level cameras nowadays have more capability in the professional digital cameras from 15 years ago. The photos that I have seen be produced with cameras such as the Nikon D3200 astound me. As of around 2008, The full frame sensor market arrived and started to change the way people at professional digital photography. ISO range became much bigger, depth of field got even thinner. Engagement photos are some of my favorite things in the whole world to shoot. I know that almost any blog post on a photographer's website could start that way but let me explain why:
I love engagement sessions because it's so easy to see the love between two people. I don't just mean the love that you see plastered all over bridal magazines and Pinterest, I mean the personal, hilarious and quirky love that every single couple shares, but is unique to every pair. I know that my wife and I have little things that make us crack up with a single word and every couple I have had the opportunity to shoot has always had something between them that you can just tell that no one else in the world knows.Read More
